maker lab

Welcome to my Maker Lab projects! In these project, I explored how to use to create new and innovative user experiences with accessibility in mind. I researched and experimented with various tools and techniques, like 3D printing. With a focus on user-centered design, I used these reusable material to create interactive prototypes that enhance the user experience. On this page, you'll find information about my design process, the tools and materials I used, and the final prototypes I created. I'm excited to share my Maker Lab project with you and demonstrate how emerging technologies can be harnessed to create impactful user experiences that is accessible to everyone.

Maker Lab 1

These two projects aimed to introduce me to the creation of objects that exist in a three-dimensional space, as well as the DIY culture and maker movement, across various levels. By engaging in research and reading, I gained insight into the culture and framework of the maker movement, and how it can be incorporated into user-centered design. The emphasis was placed on fostering creativity and promoted learning through experimentation and tinkering.

Maker Lab 2

I experimented with the Internet of Things (IoT) using open hardware like Arduino micro-controllers focusing on somatic sensory experiences. I engaged in prototyping with basic computer programming, and explored 3D printing to encourage creativity and learning through play and tinkering.
